DEPARTMENT   K   JUNIOR CRAFTS

All entries will be taken on Saturday, August 4, 2007 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

In the Junior Activities Building

 

Rules & Regulations:

1.  Exhibitors must be residents of Obion County or attend an Obion County School.

2.   Entries:  Junior Crafts will be taken on Saturday, August 4, 2007 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

3.   There will be three (3) groups of competition.  Ages 5-8; Ages 9-13; and Ages 14-18.

4.   Exhibitor’s full name, address, age, Fair exhibitor number, department name, & lot number must be printed or attached securely on work.

5.   Entries must have been made within the last two years and never exhibited before.

6.   No  items larger than 12” x 12” x 12” will be accepted.

7.   All items must be well constructed to hold up to handling and judging.

8.   NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS THEY ARE LISTED IN THIS CATALOGUE.

9.   Exhibitors are limited to only one entry in a given lot.

10. Entries will not be released until 9 a.m. Monday following the Fair.

AWARS:  This Department will be judged by the Danish System with premium not to exceed $ 3.00

Blue Group - $ 3.00;           Red Group - $ 1.50;            

“BEST OF SHOW” Rosette awarded in each age group.

Lot 2.      Paper Craft

Lot 3.      Models  (no Lego Models allowed)

Lot 4.      Handmade Dolls/Toys

Lot 5.      Wall Hanging (must have hanging device)

Lot 6.      Yarn Item

Lot 7.      Nature Craft

Lot 8.      Flower Arrangement (dried or silk)

Lot 9.      Decorated Box/Container

Lot 10.    Recycled Craft

Lot 11.    Magnetic Item

Lot 12.    Birdhouse/ Feeder

Lot 13.    Decorated Hat

Lot 14.    Foamie Craft

Lot 15.    Best Wrapped Decorated Package

Lot 16.    Holiday Decoration (not Christmas)

Lot 17.    Christmas Decoration (not ornament)

Lot 18.    Decorated Shoes

Lot 19.    Any other Craft (limit one per exhibitor)

Name, address, age, Fair exhibitor number, department, & Lot number must be SECURELY attached to bottom of piece.

 

Any Ceramic Piece made from a Mold which is fired and decorated
