CLASS  II   JUNIOR CULINARY

All entries will be taken in Junior Culinary on Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. ONLY

Rules & Regulations:

1.   Exhibitors must be residents of Obion County or attend an Obion County School

2.   Entries:  Junior Culinary will be taken on Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

3.   There will be three (3) groups of competition:  Ages 5-8; Ages 9-13; and Ages 14-18.

4.   All entries must be in container provided by the Fair.  Each exhibitor is allowed only one (1) entry per lot.

5.   Containers, labels, & Future Cook of the Kitchen forms may be picked up before the Fair at the Obion County Extension Office between the hours of   8-12 and 1-5 p.m.  Labels are to have name, age, Fair exhibitor number, & lot number printed on them and attached to the container when entry is submitted.  Future Cook of the Kitchen forms are to be completed & submitted with entry.

6.   DO NOT BRING WHOLE PIES OR CAKES.

7.   Cake entries must be layered with the exception of pound cakes.  No pound cakes will be accepted in foil pans.  Lay a 2 inch wedge on its side in container.

8.   Pie entries must be a 2 inch wedge.  No meringue or cream pies will be accepted.

9. Entries will be discarded as needed.  Ribbons Only can be picked up beginning at 9 a.m. Monday following the Fair

AWARDS:  This group will be judged by the Danish System with premium not to exceed $ 3.00

Blue Group - $ 3.00;       Red Group - $ 1.50;    

“BEST OF SHOW” rosette for Best Cake in each age group.

“BEST OF SHOW” rosette for Best Pie in each age group.

FUTURE COOK OF THE KITCHEN Awards:  $ 50.00 for each age group.
