All entries will be taken in Junior Photography on Saturday, August 4, 2007 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

In the Junior Activities Building

Rules & Regulations:

1.   Exhibitors must be residents of Obion County or attend an Obion County School.

2.   Entries:  Junior Photography will be taken on Saturday, August 4 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

3.   There will be three (3) groups of competition:  Ages 4-9; Ages 10-12; Ages 13-18.

4.   PHOTOGRAPHS MUST HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY THE PERSON IN WHOSE NAME THEY ARE BEING ENTERED.

5.   Entries must have been made within the last two years and NEVER BEFORE ENTERED IN THE FAIR.

6.   Self-timed photos will not be accepted.

7.   Only photos measuring 4x6 inches or smaller will be accepted.  No enlargements!

8.   Photographs must be mounted on 5”x 8” BLANK WHITE INDEX CARDS.  No mat boards, poster boards, or typing paper will be accepted.  Hanging devices will not be needed.

9.   The photographer’s name, age, address, Fair exhibitor number and lot number must appear on the back of the photo.

10. All lots may be either color or black and white.  Black and white photos MUST BE made with black and white film.  NO BLACK AND WHITE PRINTS OF COLOR PHOTOS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

11. Animals must be alive with the exception of same day hunting and fishing catch.

12. Exhibitors are limited to only one entry in a given lot.

13. DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WILL BE ACCEPTED IN ALL LOTS.

14.  Panoramic photos will be accepted in Lot 16 only.

14. Entries will not be released until 9 a.m. Monday following the Fair.

AWARDS:  This Department will be judged by the Danish System with premium not to exceed $ 3.00

Blue Group  - $3.00;    Red Group  - $ 1.50;   

“BEST OF SHOW” Rosette awarded in each age group.

Lot 1.      One Baby (younger than 2 years)

Lot 2.      One Child (2-18 years)

Lot 3.      One Adult

Lot 4.      Any two people

Lot 5.      Group of people (3 or more)

Lot 6.                Domestic Animals (cat, dog, etc.)

Lot 7.                Farm/Zoo/Wild Animal

Lot 8.       Birds/Insects

Lot 9.     Reptiles/Fish

Lot 10.                Landscape/Scenery

Lot 11.    Flowers

Lot 12.    One Building

Lot 13.    Activity

Lot 14.                Celebration (holiday, birthday, etc.)

Lot 15.    Silly or Strange

Lot 16.    Country Life (animals may be included but should NOT BE THE FOCUS of the photo)

Lot 17.                 Enhanced / Special Effects Photo

Lot 18.    Military

Lot 19.    Fair / Carnival

Lot 20.   Any other Photo
