2007 Fairest of the Fair & Pageants

General Information

Age Groups:  Ages as of December 31, 2007 (NOT AGE AT FAIR TIME)

Fairest of the Fair - contestant must have reached 16 but NOT 21 years of age.

All Contestants must be a resident of Obion County.

No contestants are accepted under 4 years of age.

There are NO categories for BOYS, BABIES, or GIRLS 3 AND UNDER. !!!

Entry forms plus the entry fee of $ 20.00 must be filled out and mailed to P.O. Box 126, Union City, TN  38281 or brought by the Fair office, 1711 E. Church Street by 4 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2006.

NO LATE REGISTRATIONS will be accepted on the day of rehearsal.

Rehearsals for contestants will be held at the Grandstand at the following times on Sunday, August 12:

Fairest of the Fair                         1 p.m.

Ages 4 to 6 yrs                         1:30 p.m.

Ages 7 to 9 yrs                        2:00 p.m.

Ages 10 to 12 yrs                      2:30 p.m.

Ages 13 to 15 yrs                     3:00 p.m.

• All contestants will draw their number of appearance at rehearsal.

• If for some reason a contestant is not able to come to rehearsal, SPECIAL PERMISSION MUST BE OBTAINED FROM THE PAGEANT COORDINATOR, by calling Sharon Regen at 885-3818.

• Dressing room is provided by limited to contestant and ONE PARENT OR HELPER.

• Professional pictures will be taken if the contestant wishes to purchase them.  Pictures are not included in the entry fee.

 

PLEASE EXPECT TO FULFILL THESE DUTIES IF YOU ENTER THE PAGEANTS.

•  Each queen and maid will be assigned specific events at which the MUST BE PRESENT during Fair week of August 13 thru August 18, 2007.

• The Fairest of the Fair will be expected to attend the Tennessee Association of Fairs Convention in Nashville with the delegation from the Obion County Fair.
