Rules & Regulations:
1. Open only to Junior Exhibitors
from West Tennessee.
2. Show is open to purebred and
commercial sheep.
3. Entries and weigh-ins:
Junior Sheep Show entries will be taken on Saturday, August 18, 2007 starting at
3 p.m. Weigh-ins for Market Lambs: from 3 to 5 p.m. so classes can be
posted. Purebred entries: will be accepted from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
4. All sheep in purebred glasses
must be registered in flock books of their respective breed associations and
owned for at least 60 days prior to show. Purebred classes with 10 or more
entries of that breed will show in their own breed class.
5. All papers will be checked
before the show.
6. All animals must be entered and
exhibited under the name appearing on the registration paper.
7. Ewes shown in market classes are
not eligible for breeding classes.
8. For the registered show, an
exhibitor is allowed 2 animals per lot.
9. Animals must be shown by owner
except in classes where owner has more than one animal, then the other animal
must be shown by a Junior exhibitor.
10. In the Commercial Ewe Show, the
exhibitor may show a maximum of 2 yearlings and 3 lambs.
11. Ewes shown in commercial class
are not eligible for either the breeding or market lamb classes.
12. There will be no more than 10
market lambs per class.
13. An exhibitor may show no more
than 4 market lambs.
14. All entries must conform to
official health regulations.
15. Show will start following the
Wool & Woolies.
16. All tie spaces and pens must
be cleaned before premiums are handed out.

$25.00; 3rd $ 20.00; 4th $ 15.00; 5th
$ 10.00
Grand Champion for each breed $ 50.00
Reserve Champion for each breed $ 35.00
GRAND CHAMPION MARKET LAMB $ 100.00
RESERVE CHAMPION MARKET LAMB $ 75.00
A Senior Showmanship Belt Buckle will be awarded in
each Showmanship Class
CLASS I -Market Lamb Showmanship

Lot 1. Novice - 8 and under
Lot 2. Junior - 9 thru 11
Lot 3. Junior High - 12 and 13
Lot 4. Senior - 14 thru 19
CLASS II - Market Lamb Show
Classes will be
arranged by weight. No more than 10 lambs per class.
CLASS III- Breeding and Commercial
Ewe Showmanship (ages as of Jan. 1 year of show)
